Pub launches 'Harry's Bitter' beer in swipe at Sussexes bombshell Netflix series

A pub has launched a beer in Prince Harry's name following on from the Sussexes Netflix series.

'Harry's bitter' is on offer at the Duke of Sussex pub in Chiswick (West London) in what appears to be a damning response to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and their accusations about the Royal Family.

Amongst them, Harry claims the family lied to protect his brother and pulled security from the Sussexes which put their lives in danger.

The couple, who stepped down from the Firm to set up a life in America, also say Meghan was "fed to the wolves" upon marrying into the Royal Family.

But not everyone has taken the accusations well, and one pub has found a novel way of hitting back with the 3.9% alcoholic beer - which is described as "A royally good tipple".

One Twitter user wrote: "Kudos to the Duke of Sussex pub in Chiswick (West London) for this beautifully British riposte to Harry & Meghan's self-pitying Netflix show.

"Fittingly, with only 3.9% alcohol, "Harry's Bitter" is as weak as its namesake... "

Harry's latest claims about his brother being protected by lies came as yet another bombshell trailer for Harry and Meghan's Netflix show was released.

In it, he claimed people were "happy to lie" to protect his older brother Prince William but wouldn't do the same for him, with his wife Meghan Markle "fed to the wolves".

The Duke of Sussex made the shocking claims in yet another trailer for his controversial Netflix docuseries, Harry & Meghan, which airs on Thursday.

The trailer, which promotes the second half of the six-part series, shows Meghan telling the camera that leaving the UK gave them the chance to "create a home they always wanted".

The 90-second long clip also shows a home video of Lilibet walking, the first time we've seen the little royal on her feet.

The new trailer starts showing Harry and Meghan on their last ever royal engagement with Harry saying: "I wonder what would have happened to us had we not got out when we did."

Meghan then follows up by saying: "Our security was being pulled. Everyone in the world knew where we were" and Harry adds: "I said we need to get out of here."

The trailer then cuts to Harry filming a video diary on a plane, where he says: "We are on a freedom flight" before he talks about seeing "institutional gaslighting".

Meghan then adds: "I wasn't being thrown to the wolves, I was being fed to the wolves."
