Tech firms 'taking the mickey' on teen social media ban

Tech giants can expect to have the book thrown at them if they fail to uphold Australia's youth social media ban as a minister accuses some of "taking the mickey" with lax checks.

Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok and YouTube have been accused by the government of breaching laws requiring them to bar under-16s from holding social media accounts.
