Priscilla Presley has filed legal documents challenging daughter Lisa Marie's trust as she claims she's been pushed out and replaced.
Elvis and Priscilla's only daughter Lisa Marie died this month at the age of 54 after suffering two cardiac arrests, with her mum opening up about her 'painstaking' grief.
Weeks after the tragedy, legal documents have revealed that Priscilla, 77, is now challenging an amendment to Lisa Marie's trust.
Papers seen by the New York post, show that Priscilla is asking a judge to set aside a change made to the documents over ten years ago which eliminates her as a trustee.
Priscilla is claiming she was removed as a trustee with an 'inconsistent' signature used to rubber stamp documents.
Lisa Marie executed a living trust on January 29th 1993 which was then amended on January 27th 2010.
The change is said to eliminate Priscilla and Elvis' daughter's former business manager Barry Siegel as trustees with her grandchildren Riley and the late Ben Keough replacing them.
Lisa Marie cut ties with Seigel after accusing him of mismanaging her assets.
Priscilla is now aiming to make the amendment invalid and return to the trust as she questions the validity and authenticity.
Daughter Lisa Marie's signature 'appears inconsistent with her usual and customary signature' the new papers claim.
Papers also suggest the amendment was never delivered to her, Priscilla's name is misspelled and the date on the document is alleged to be suspicious.
The legal filing states: "Lisa Marie Presley appointed her mother, Petitioner, and her former business manager, Barry Siegel, as co-Trustees effective as of the date of the 2010 restatement.
"The 2010 restatement further provides that Petitioner and Barry Siegel shall continue to serve as co-Trustees upon Lisa Marie Presley's subsequent incapacity and/or death.
"There are many issues surrounding the authenticity and validity of the Purported 2016 Amendment."
The court filing adds: "The Purported 2016 Amendment was never delivered to Petitioner during Lisa Marie Presley's lifetime as required by the express terms of the Trust.
- The date of the Purported Trust Amendment was added via .pdf on March 14.
- The Purported 2016 Amendment, allegedly signed by Lisa Marie Presley, misspells her mother's name.
- No provisions of the Purported 2016 Amendment appear on the signature page.
- Lisa Marie Presley's signature appears inconsistent with her usual and customary signature.
- The Purported 2016 Amendment was neither witnessed nor notarized."
On Friday, Priscilla said she is on "a dark and painstaking journey" as she took to Twitter to thank fans for their love and support.
"To YOU, I’m truly overwhelmed with your words, your prayers, your love and your support. Thank you from the bottom of my heart in trying to help me get through this loss.
"Every parent who has lost a daughter or son knows what a dark painstaking journey it is," she wrote and added a broken heart emoji.
Priscilla had previously tweeted: "Thank you all for your condolences, you have touched me with your words.
"It has been a very difficult time but just knowing your love is out there makes a difference."
