Princess Eugenie is pregnant with her second child that is due later this summer - and she's shared an adorable snap of her bump to announce the news.
The 32-year-old and her husband Jack Brooksbank are already parents to son August, who turns two next month.
In a statement today, it was confirmed they would be welcoming another baby, with young son August pleased to be becoming a big brother. It is unknown if it is a boy or a girl.
Buckingham Palace said in a statement: "Princess Eugenie and Mr Jack Brooksbank are pleased to announce they are expecting their second child this summer.
"The family are delighted and August is very much looking forward to being a big brother."
Also announcing the news on her personal Instagram account, Eugenie shared a photo of young son August kissing her bump.
In the photograph, taken by Mr Brooksbank, Eugenie, dressed in a woolly hat, beams as August, in a burgundy winter hat, matching trousers and wellies, embraces her and kisses her bump, as they stand next to a fence in a leaf-strewn field.
Eugenie wrote: "We're so excited to share that there will be a new addition to our family this summer." Among those liking her post were her brother-in-law Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi and the Princess of Wales' brother James Middleton.
The baby will be born 13th in line to the throne and will be a third grandchild for Eugenie's parents Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson.
Sarah also took to Instagram to celebrate the happy news by sharing a picture of August playing in a puddle with the caption: "You will be sharing puddles, Augie ! Superb news, Granny heaven…. So deeply grateful."
As well as August, Andrew and Sarah are also grandparents to Princess Beatrice's young daughter Sienna, who was born in September 2021.
The happy news has brought joy to the Windsors in the wake of the late Queen's death and amid difficult times following the publication of Prince Harry's controversial tell-all memoir.
He or she will be the first of the Queen’s great-grandchildren to be born since her death, and will arrive in King Charles, Eugenie's uncle's, coronation year.
Eugenie's first born August Philip Hawke Brooksbank arrived at the exclusive Portland Hospital in central London on February 9, 2021.
He made an appearance at the Platinum Jubilee pageant celebrations last year wearing a union flag jumper as Eugenie bounced him up and down on her knee as they sat in the royal box.
His name pays tribute to his late great-grandfather Prince Philip, who died just weeks after Eugenie welcomed her son.
In a documentary in September 2021, Eugenie revealed August got to meet Philip shortly before he passed away.
Holding back the tears, Eugenie explained: "We named August, August Philip because grandpa has been such a huge, inspiring character in my life.
"I brought little August to come and meet him and told him that we had named him after him and it was such a lovely moment.
"We were very lucky to do that."
Meanwhile, in an interview at the World Economic Forum in Davos with Reuters IMPACT on Tuesday, Eugenie said her son was "going to be an activist from two years old" and spoke of her own attempts to stop using plastic at home.
Eugenie and husband Jack tied the knot back in 2018 in a grand wedding at Windsor Castle - just months after the nuptials of her cousin Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
Guests at the wedding included the late Queen, the Prince and Princess of Wales and celebrities including Robbie Williams and Ellie Goulding.
Jack was educated at Stowe private school in Buckinghamshire and went straight into a career in hospitality.
He worked at London nightspots Mahiki and Peyote, before landing a job at Chelsea’s Tonteria with the help of Guy Pelly - businessman and close personal friend of Princes William and Harry.
He's also been the European brand director of Casamigos Tequila, which is owned by Hollywood actor George Clooney - but now splits his time between the UK and Portugal.
