Princess Eugenie and husband Jack Brooksbank could be set to follow Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s footsteps across the Atlantic ocean in a shock America move, it's been claimed.
Reports claimed that the royal couple were eyeing up following the Sussexes to sunny California after the birth of their second child.
A friend of Eugenie and Brooksbank is said to have rumbled them, and admitted that Harry and Meghan have been sending the 32-year-old details of homes close to where they live in Montecito.
But there are claims that the couple, who recently announced they were expecting their second child, would prefer homes in the West Hollywood area of LA and plan to rent before taking the plunge to America.
Moving to the US wouldn’t be wholly unfamiliar to Eugenie, who spent two years living in New York between 2013 and 2015 when she worked for an auction house.
The Mail reports the royals are eyeing up the shocking move abroad.
As things stand, Eugenie and Brooksbank split their time between England and Portugal where the latter works.
One source said: “With a growing family, it all feels like it is about new starts. This isn't just a pipe dream.”
Eugenie has always been close to Harry and in his bombshell memoir Harry claimed when Eugenie met Meghan they hugged “as if they were sisters”.
The daughter of disgraced Prince Andrew gave birth to her first child back in February 2021.
But just last week, she showed off her growing baby bump as she stepped out to dinner in London, with her mother, Sarah Ferguson.
The Duchess of York said she was in “granny heaven” over the news of her daughter’s pregnancy.
Meanwhile, Prince Andrew was seen horse riding at Windsor.
A beaming Princess Eugenie had a huge smile when she was seen for the first time since announcing she was expecting her second child.
The 32-year-old confirmed earlier this week that she was pregnant and would be welcoming a new arrival with her husband Brooksbank.
Pictures show her on her first outing since announcing the happy news leaving the trendy London restaurant Chiltern Firehouse.
Eugenie, a niece of King Charles, wore a black floral dress with black heeled boots and wrapped up with an oversized camel coat.
She was pictured smiling as she left the venue with her mum Sarah Ferguson just hours after announcing she is expecting.
