Princess Beatrice has released an emotional poem in honour of her grandmother the Queen. Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson's daughter, who is now ninth in line to the throne and become a Counsellor of State, gave permission for her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, to share the emotional words on Instagram.
Edoardo, who married the Princess in 2020 and is father to their 11-month daughter Sienna, revealed the poignant poem had been written by his brother, Alby Shale, who had given it to Beatrice. As well as thanking the late monarch for her guidance, teaching and love, the poem also mentions new Prime Minister Liz Truss, Paddington Bear and even James Bond.

Edo wrote: "Your Majesty, Thank you. Thank you to my wonderful brother Alby Shale for writing this for Beatrice and thank you for allowing us to share it. Thank you."
The poem begins by thanking Her Majesty for her guidance over the years.
It reads: "Thank you for guiding for 70 years
"Thank you for guiding with values not spears
"Thank you for guiding your whole adult life
"Thank you for guiding with dignity, not strife"
It goes on to thank the Queen for "helping our monarchy survive" and "evolving from Churchill to Truss", who were her first and last Prime Ministers.
There are also lines thanking her for "meeting Paddington Bear" and "metting James Bond 0007".
The poem ends with the powerful lines: "Thank you for personifying sincerity
"Thank you for personifying justice
"Thank you for personifying moderation
"Thank you for personifying humility
"Thank you for personifying us"
Earlier this week, Edo was spotted looking at the flowers and cards laid in tribute to the Queen at Green Park.
Beatrice's husband crouched down to get a better look at the tributes and looked deep in thought.
Edo also shared a beautiful unseen picture of the Queen and her devoted husband Prince Philip on his wedding day.
As well as a tribute to the 96-year-old monarch, Edo shared a number of pictures from the family, including one of the Queen driving as a young woman and another with her beloved corgis.
Another showed the proud monarch in a mint green outfit with her husband arriving for Edoardo's July 2020 wedding to Princess Beatrice, the Queen's granddaughter.
He wrote on Instagram: "Incredibly hard to process the last 24 hours.
"What an incredible woman and extraordinary mark she’s left on the entire world. She was the rock on which modern Britain was built.
"Feeling very lucky our little ones got to spend time with her this summer. Rest is Peace Your Majesty. We will miss you so much.
"Broken hearted."
