As he waited for King Charles to arrive at the Coronation, Prince Harry seemingly made a strange gesture in the direction of Princess Anne. The Duke of Sussex attended Westminster Abbey alone, as wife Meghan Markle is staying at home in America with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, reports the Daily Mirror.
Harry turned up along with Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, then walked in with his cousins. He sat down next to Eugenie's hubby and Princess Alexandra, the late Queen's cousin, who hasn't been seen at a royal engagement for a decade.
Body language expert Judi James, says nervy Prince Harry revealed 'subliminal signs of tensions' as he waited for his father King Charles to arrive for the ceremony.
She told The Mirror: "As Harry waited in his seat for his father and brother to arrive there were some subliminal signs of building tension or anxiety. He sucked his lips in and licked them and his blink rate increased, suggesting adrenalin prompted by nerves."
She continued, and said Harry started staring into the row in front of him at Anne, making the odd gesture. She continues: "His eye-gaze fixed on his aunt Anne, who was chatting in the seats in front and then his head dropped down."
Harry waited for the Prince and Princess of Wales and their children to arrive, before King Charles finally arrived afterwards. However, Judi also stated that Harry did in fact appear happy when he first at the venue arrived with his royal cousins
She explained: "Harry arrived with the Sussex posse, the royal cousins Beatrice and Eugenie and their husbands, who have remained friends throughout the royal rifts.
"Chatting first to Edo he then got the attention of Eugenie and Jack and we saw an incredible return of the joker prince as Harry grinned and used two hands cupped widely under his stomach to do what looked like a mime of Eugenie’s heavily-pregnant state. After making the couple laugh, Harry fell back to walk in alone."
She said Harry was very confident when he walked into Westminster Abbey. The body language expert added: "Still smiling and with his cheeks rounded, he then proceeded to perform a display of what looked like rather cocky bravado.
"His striding walk looked jaunty as he pushed one side of his jacket away before making his way up the aisle nodding, grinning, using eye-brow flash rituals and chatting with people in the congregation as though signalling to the world that he was upbeat, confident and happy to be back."
He gave courteous greetings guests, saying "hello", "morning" and "nice to see you" to various people.
Another lip reader has also claimed he said "look at that" while noticing the splendour and also stated "delightful".
The seating arrangements are believed to have been one of the sticking points that led to a delay in Harry responding as to whether he would be attending. It's believed Harry will be heading to the airport after the ceremony to get back to the States.
Previously, a royal source said: "After much back and forth, Harry said that he would be returning for the King's Coronation but it will only be a fleeting visit.
"Organisers have been told Harry won't be attending the concert with the rest of the Royal Family, which is a great shame as it will be such a spectacular event."
