Just days after Prince Harry and Prince William reunited the future King has been left out of a statement about their shared charity efforts.
The Duke of Sussex has completely left his big brother's involvement in The Diana Award out of a statement released on his Archewell website today.
Taking to the news section of the site, Prince Harry spoke about how on June 30, a virtual ceremony honoured 189 young changemakers from 31 countries.
But he failed to mention his brother's involvement after he appeared by video link to help present awards.
On Harry's Archewell blog, the statement reads: "Today, The Diana Award recognized over 180 exceptional young leaders who are transforming their communities and driving positive change."
The statement then went on to explain the backstory of The Diana Award, which was set up in 1999 in memory of their late mother, Diana the Princess of Wales who tragically died two years prior in 1997.
The cause, which is close to the brothers' hearts recognises youth aged 9-25 years old for their social action or humanitarian work.
"This year, The Diana Award recognized changemakers from 31 different countries, all united in their collective efforts to create a more equitable and inclusive world," the Archewell statement added.
The statement later recognised how Prince Harry joined past recipients of the award in Los Angeles for the first-ever in person Conversations for Change. The statement also went on to say how the Duke of Sussex surprised four of this year’s Diana Award recipients with their certificates.
Failing to mention his brother Prince William in the post, the statement continued to note how Prince Harry "participated in a powerful session led by Legacy Award recipient Vee Kativhu that explored alumni and recipients’ inspirational work, inequality, and the online world".
Nowhere in the blog post did they mention how Prince William recorded a video where he spoke of how he was "proud" to continue his late mother's belief, with him saying: "Today, we recognise the power of all young people—the power to challenge the status quo, to confront injustice, and to inspire meaningful change."
"To all the award recipients, I extend my heartfelt congratulations. Your accomplishments are a testament to your passion and commitment to creating positive change. You are the torchbearers of hope and inspiration, lighting the way for others to follow," William concluded.
The brothers were not in the same room when filming their pieces to camera, which was apparent by their backgrounds and the lighting surrounding them, and the fact that Harry had been at the event in Los Angeles.
