Prince Harry opened up about his relationships with family members in his new autobiography Spare in a first sit-down interview with Tom Bradbury, who he has known for more than 20 years. But two days before his memoir is published, journalist Tom gave Harry a grilling.
Harry lifted the lid on conversations with his father King Charles and brother Prince William, including the revelation that he asked his father not to marry Camilla, Manchester Evening News reports. However viewers pointed out a dilemma that while the interview was being aired on ITV, it was going head-to-head with Happy Valley over on BBC One.
Many fans said there was no contest between the two as they went for the British crime drama, set and filmed in the Calder Valley, West Yorkshire, starring Sarah Lancashire and Siobhan Finneran, over the over real-life drama. TV presenter Eamonn Holmes asked: "9 pm on The Telly .... Happy Valley or Unhappy Harry?" And comedian Kate Robbins commented: "TV ratings battle. Happy Valley v. Prince Harry."
