Prince Charles' travel essentials have been revealed in a tell-all new book with some bizarre bathroom requirements - including exactly what he needs on the throne.
Author Tina Brown, Princess Diana's trusted biographer, has certainly lifted the lid on what Charles demands when aides pack his bags.
The Palace Papers: Inside The House Of Windsor - The Truth And The Turmoil hits the shelves today.
She claims the future King insists on having his own toilet seat on any trips - even to close friends’ country homes.
He wants super soft Kleenex Velvet loo roll, his own orthopaedic bed plus two pictures of Scottish landscapes.
The Prince of Wales former right-hand man Michael Fawcett would oversee the “paraphernalia that preceded his boss like the baggage train of a Tudor traveling court”, Ms Brown writes
That includes "the Prince’s own bed, lavatory seat, and Kleenex Velvet lavatory paper, plus two landscapes of the Scottish landscapes.”
Even on short trips, Charles makes sure nothing is left behind.
“When he traveled to stay at friends’ country houses, a truck arrived the day before, bringing his bed, furniture, and even pictures, which his pampering aide Michael Fawcett ensured would be hung in his allotted bedroom in place of the possessions of his host,” she went on.
The royal expert claims Charles' meal requirements were more strict than even his mother's.
Charles would also stipulate his menu preferences before any trip - unlike the Queen, who always ate what was served.
The author says that Prince Harry's relationship with his dad had been strained for some time with them mainly communicating through their private offices.
The details of their awkward contact are best summed up over a conversation for Harry's 30th birthday present.
"Would you like another dinner jacket?" Charles supposedly asked, with Harry replying: "Okay."
Ms Brown said: "So the man from Savile Row came to measure him and when the suit arrived . . . one arm was shorter than the other and one leg shorter than the other, so it was . . . returned in a box, which seemed kind of analogous to their whole relationship."
She also claims that Charles is "desperate" for his mum's approval, but notes that they are very different people.
A source told her that he's the "wrong sort of person" for her, believing him to be too needy, emotional and vulnerable.
