Primark's new Harry Potter dog collection casts a spell on shoppers

When it comes to stylish themed merchandise on the high-street, Primark continues to be the gift that just keeps on giving for shoppers.

Alongside their popular Disney collections, the retailer is also well-known for launching items inspired by another childhood favourite - Harry Potter.

And it looks like shoppers are absolutely obsessed with the fashion chain's latest collection inspired by everyone's favourite magical franchise.

However, this time around it's not for themselves, but for their pets, as the budget store has launched a brand new Harry Potter dog collection and prices start at just £5.

The spellbinding collection features everything you need to pamper your furry friend, including a dog bed, collar, bowl, treat box and lead.

It means you can now sort your pooch into one of the four main Hogwarts houses, as all items feature the iconic red and gold colours of house Gryffindor.

Primark sent muggles wild after they shared a snap off the wizarding world inspired collection to their official Facebook page, where it quickly racked up 2,000 likes and over 8,000 comments.

They captioned the snap: "Spoil your furry friend with a Harry Potter bed and accessories. Prices start from £5."

"I feel like Dudley needs all of this", commented a second.

A third enthusiastic shopper said: "Patch would love this he said so himself."

A fifth happy shopper wrote: "Pup needs some of this in his life! Xx"

As excited as fans were at the new pet collection, quite a few shoppers were a little disappointed that it only featured the colours of house Gryffindor.

"I would get this… but Ralph would definitely be in Slytherin", said one shopper.

"Need more Hufflepuff items", said another.

While a third agreed: "Why is it always Gryffindor? My dog is such a hufflepuff."
