Primark's £9 shoes that look just like £655 Gucci loafers

Budget retailer Primark is selling a new pair of shoes which look very similar to ones sold by a designer brand - but for around £646 cheaper.

Primark, which is hugely popular in Liverpool, has become known for its designer dupes in recent years, often selling alternative versions to high-end products for much less. This time around, the retailer is selling pair of cream loafers which are very similar to ones sold by fashion brand Gucci, which are priced at £655 online.

TikTok user @glowinggrace_x shared a video showing off Primark’s t-bar loafers. The post was captioned: “Gucci dupe!”

The shoes feature a similar design to Gucci’s Leather Horsebit Loafers. The bargain retailer's shoes are similar in colour, shape and also have a metal t-bar design on the front.

The shoes can be seen on Primark's website here. The product description reads: "Featuring a sleek and minimal design with a golden T bar detail on the front, this classic style is a must in every woman's wardrobe. Made from a PU croc look fabric, this hardwearing design will see you through interviews, coffee runs and smart days at the office."

Primark’s shoes are priced at £9, while Gucci’s version would set shoppers back £655. This means shoppers could save around £646 by opting for the dupe.

While Primark doesn't offer an online shop, the retailer does have a website where shoppers can see its latest products and check if they're in stock before heading into stores to purchase them. The £9 shoes are in stores now. You can find the Gucci version here.
