Budget retailer Primark is selling a denim jacket which looks very similar to one sold by a designer brand but for around £1,330 less.
Primark, which is hugely popular in Liverpool, has become known for its designer dupes in recent years, often selling alternative versions to high-end products for much less. This time around, the retailer is selling a denim shacket which is very similar to Valentino’s Vlogo Signature Denim Shirt, which are priced at £1,350 online.
Primark’s shacket, which is priced at £20, is displayed on the retailer’s website. The product description reads: “Another layer to live in has just landed with this soft and chic denim shacket.

“Crafted from lightweight denim, this signature workwear style jacket is constructed with all of the features you love on a shirt, including a classic collar, yoke back and long sleeves with buttoned cuffs, while the button-down front is completed with four pockets. The overall fit of this shacket is relaxed and slightly oversized, which makes it perfect for layering over your favourite knitwear and tees.”
The Primark shacket is very similar to Valentino’s £1,350 shirt; they both feature a similar colour denim, button fastenings, and two side pockets along the bottom.
However, while Primark’s version has two pockets on the chest, Valentino’s just has one. The Valentino shirt also features a large ‘V’ logo on the back of the shirt. You can see the designer version here.
While Primark doesn’t offer an online shop, the retailer does have a website where shoppers can see its latest products and check if they’re in stock before heading into stores to purchase them.
