U.S. President Joe Biden visits Amtrak maintenance facility in Bear, Delaware

During a Holocaust remembrance ceremony, President Biden addressed the atrocities committed by Hamas terrorists against Israel on Oct. 7. He expressed his condemnation of the antisemitic protests on college campuses and emphasized the importance of remembering and acknowledging these tragic events.

Biden highlighted the heinous acts of rape, torture, and murder carried out by Hamas, stressing the need to not forget the crimes that occurred just seven months prior. He acknowledged the ongoing trauma faced by Jews worldwide in the aftermath of these events and denounced the surge of antisemitism that has been witnessed in America and across the globe.

The President criticized those who have denied, downplayed, or rationalized the horrors of the Holocaust and the atrocities committed by Hamas. He specifically called out Hamas for their use of sexual violence to terrorize youth, labeling it as despicable and demanding an end to such abhorrent practices.

President Biden's strong stance against antisemitism and terrorism underscores his commitment to promoting peace, justice, and remembrance of historical tragedies. By speaking out against these injustices, he aims to foster a more inclusive and compassionate society that values the dignity and rights of all individuals.
