The pregnant partner of Strictly star Helen Skelton's ex husband Richie Myler has asked people to "stop judging her" and says she has "nothing but respect" for Helen.

Stephanie Thirkill and Leeds Rhinos player Richie revealed they were expecting a baby on Instagram earlier this week. Their announcement comes nine months after Richie, 32, welcomed a third child with Helen, 39.

The Mirror reports how Richie told his ex the news before going public. Now, a friend of Stephanie's has insisted she has "nothing but respect for Helen".
