NEW DELHI: Indian shuttlers Pramod Bhagat and Sukant Kadam secured their places in the semifinals, guaranteeing themselves at least a medal in the Para Badminton World Championship in Pattaya, Thailand on Friday.
Bhagat defeated France's Mathieu Thomas 21-15, 21-17, earning a spot in the semifinals where he will face compatriot Manoj Sarkar. Meanwhile, Kadam overcame Nigeria's Chigozie Jeremiah Nnanna with a scoreline of 21-13, 21-11, setting up a semifinal clash against Indonesia's Fredy Setiawan.
