A giant asteroid is set to hurl incredibly close by planet Earth on Wednesday.
Officially named Asteroid 2006 HV5, it's forecast to travel by the globe 1.5 million miles away - or 6.3 times the distance from the Earth to the Moon, while flying at some 38,000mph.
NASA has classified the space rock as "potentially hazardous", which is estimated to be around 1,000 feet in diameter - around three football pitches. Despite being over a million miles in space, experts still consider this a close call, the Mirror reports.
