The potential new Chelsea owner Nick Candy has issued a warning to Manchester United over chasing Thomas Tuchel. United are looking for a permanent boss to take over from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer who was sacked last November with Ralf Rangnick currently in charge on a temporary basis.
The Manchester Evening News understands that the United board favours a move for Erik ten Hag. However, pundits have called on the Reds to look at Tuchel for the managerial position.
It is believed that Tuchel could be unsettled at Chelsea due to off the field issues regarding Roman Abramovich and the sanctions placed upon him by the UK Government. However, United have been warned by the potential new owner of the Blues, Nick Candy, that he would not allow Tuchel to leave if he is to take over at Stamford Bridge.

Speaking to The Sun, Candy said: "Thomas Tuchel has done an incredible job at a very difficult time in the last few weeks. He’s spoken brilliantly, behaved brilliantly and is a true gent.
"It’s one thing being a great manager, it’s a different thing being a great human being. But he’s proven that he’s not just a great manager but a brilliant human being.
"He’s got the respect of the media, he’s got the respect of the players, he’s got the respect of the fans, so all credit to him.”
