Inter Milan hold a slender advantage heading into tonight’s Champions League last-16 second leg with Porto.
The Nerazzurri won at the San Siro last month thanks to Romelu Lukaku’s late goal and are looking to make a major statement in Europe. City rivals AC Milan made it through to the final eight last week by beating Tottenham and Napoli look favourites to join them. After some difficult years in Europe, Italian teams are looking as if they are making something of a comeback.
Still, Porto have overcome Juventus in recent memory and are experienced in making the latter stages themselves. Backed by home support, they will feel than confident of turning this around.
