A beloved adventure park near Edinburgh has announced that it will open a mega aqua assault course in honour of its 10th anniversary.
Foxlake Adventures, which is located just outside of Dunbar in East Lothian, has confirmed that it will expand its list of activities with the construction of a water assault course that is set to open this summer.
It will be 100 metres long and consist of 20 Ninja Warrior-style features, such as a Tyre Run, a Ninja-Jump, an Eagles Nest, and a slide. The new attraction, which is set to create 20 new jobs at Foxlake Adventures, will be suitable for children of all abilities from seven years old.
Activities currently on offer at the park include an above-water rope assault course and Ringo rides wakeboarding.
Also including lighter activities such as Segway tours and swimming, the park attracts approximately 35,000 visitors per year. The new aqua attraction will replace the zip wire following storm damage in 2021.
Director of Foxlake Adventures James Barbour said: “We are delighted to add a floating Aqua Park obstacle course to our range of action-packed activities at Foxlake Adventures, including wakeboarding and our ropes assault course, and also create 20 new full and part-time roles.
“It’s a great addition to the existing activities on offer and will make for a brilliant adrenalin-charge, fun-filled day out especially for any daredevils who really want to test their balance, agility, speed and endurance on the Aqua Park."
