The Minnesota Vikings drafted six players in the 2023 NFL draft and only one player in the top 100. They decided to stay at 23rd overall and take USC wide receiver Jordan Addison.
After that, the Vikings spent time building up the secondary with cornerback Mekhi Blackmon, safety Jay Ward and defensive tackle Jaquelin Roy. They finished the draft off with a potential quarterback of the future in BYU’s Jaren Hall and a running back in DeWayne McBride.
