Police warn people not to approach missing man believed to be in Manchester

Police are appealing for help to find a missing man who is believed to be in the Manchester area.

The 34-year-old, named only as Callum, went missing from the Stirchley area in Birmingham on Sunday, April 17. He was last spotted at a shop in Kings Heath that morning, police said.

Officers now believe he is in the Manchester area. He has recently travelled to Manchester and Blackpool, Birmingham Police said.

"If you live or work in these areas, please keep a look out for him. If seen, please call 999", the force said in a tweet. Anyone who sees him is being warned not to approach him.

A picture of Callum, who is described as being around 6ft tall, has been released by police. They have also released CCTV images which show the clothes he was wearing at the time he went missing.

Anyone who sees Callum should call 999 quoting ref PID72899 - any other info can be reported on 101 or on Live Chat.
