Police are trying to trace a woman who was in a kebab shop just metres away from where a dad was run over and killed.
Sean Coffey, 55, was walking on Chester Road (A41), near the junction of Smithy Lane in Little Sutton, Ellesmere Port at 6.20pm on Saturday, December 31, when he was hit by a black BMW X5 and a grey Land Rover Discovery. The man died following the crash.
Enquiries into the crash are ongoing and officers are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or may have dashcam footage to come forward. Police are particularly interested in speaking to a woman who was very close to the crash, as she went into the Nice Kebab and Pizza House at the time of it happening.
