Police are seeking the driver of a stolen Mercedes that was "driven dangerously" before being flipped onto its roof in Nottingham. The car was crashed in Westleigh Road, on the Broxtowe estate in Aspley shortly before 4.30pm on Sunday, May 14.
Nottinghamshire Police said nobody was injured, but two other vehicles were damaged during the incident. The force said it was not connected to a stabbing that happened nearby around half an hour later, which left a teenager needing hospital treatment.
Sergeant Darran Owen said: “Officers were called to reports that a suspected stolen car had flipped onto its roof after being driven dangerously in Westleigh Road, Aspley, shortly before 4.30pm, on Sunday (14 May). Two other stationary vehicles were also damaged during the incident.
“No one was reported to have been injured. We are continuing to investigate what happened and would like to speak to the driver of a Mercedes suspected to be involved in the incident.
“Anyone with any information is asked to call 101, quoting incident number 468 of 14 May 2023, or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
