Police officer 'dragged along road by moving car' as officers launch manhunt for suspect

Police have launched a manhunt after an officer was allegedly dragged along a road by a moving car.

Detectives want to speak to Wahid Hussain in connection with the incident, which took place at 11.15pm yesterday in the town of Accrington, Lancashire.

The 34-year-old also has links to Nelson and the Cheetham Hill area of Manchester, said police.
