Police have made an arrest following an alleged serious assault in Barrhead.
Emergency services raced to Main Street in the East Renfrewshire town after the alarm was raised at around 11.40pm on Tuesday, May 31.
Officers received a report of a man found injured on the road.
A 36-year-old man has now been arrested in connection with the serious assault.
He is due to appear at court on Saturday, June 4.
The condition of the injured man is not yet known.
A Police Scotland said : "A 36-year-old man has been arrested in connection with serious assault after a man was found injured in Main Street, Barrhead at around 11.40pm on Tuesday, May 31, 2022.
"He is expected to appear at court on Saturday, June 4, 2022."
