A dog has been put down after two people were attacked on a street in Rochdale. Police were called to Morley Street in the town following reports of a dog on the loose.
When officers arrived at about 9.30pm on Friday, they found that the dog had bitten two people and was ' acting in an aggressive manner'.
The dog was destroyed due to concerns about the number of people in the area and the injuries caused. Police say no one was seriously injured in the attacks.
