A huge police cordon has been in place in Chapeltown this morning just days after a man was brutally stabbed to death.
Chapeltown Health Centre has been cordoned off by police with tape covering large areas of Leopold Street and Spencer Place off Roundhay Road. Officers inside the cordoned area looked to be making enquiries in the health centre car park, an eyewitness reported.
It is not known at this time what nature of the incident is and LeedsLive has asked West Yorkshire Police for more information.

The cordon was first reported as being in place by a witness at around 9am this morning. Officers have been seen at the cordon and are believed to be actively searching the area.
An area on Roundhay Road has been cordoned off, the cordon then leads on to Spencer Place and then cuts left on to Leopold Street. A road closure is in place on the surgery access road Frankland Place.
Residents in the area have said they don't know what has gone on this morning. One resident said: "We had the police knock on the door and ask if we knew anything or if we had CCTV that could help, but we don't." One officer told LeedsLive the cordon is "not a new incident" and is in relation to something that happened the other day.
This comes just days after Peter Wass, 29, from Roundhay, was stabbed near to the junction of Hamilton Place and Hamilton Avenue in Chapeltown on March 2. He was taken to hospital but was sadly pronounced dead.
West Yorkshire Police are continuing to investigate the incident and are urging anyone with any information to come forward.
