A female officer bitten when police came under attack in Thetford as people attempted to storm homes linked to asylum seekers is already back on the front line alongside a colleague who was hit on the head with a rock.
A woman, aged in her 30s, was arrested on suspicion of assaulting an emergency worker, common assault and a public order offence in relation to the officer who was bitten, Norfolk Police said on Friday.
