Queensland co-captain Al Brigginshaw says going into the opening State of Origin match without any NRLW in the leadup has been "stressful" for the players and has called for change to the schedule.
Both squads have had selection trials and pre-season camps but no NRLW action in the leadup to the Origin opener at Suncorp Stadium on Thursday night, unlike the men who have 11 rounds of NRL before the two sides go into their first Origin camp.
