Platinum Jubilee celebrations are well underway as the nation basks in a four-day bank holiday weekend. The festivities kicked off with Trooping of the Colour on Thursday, followed by beacon lighting, while on Friday morning a Service of Thanksgiving was held at St Paul’s Cathedral.
Tonight (Saturday, June 4) the celebrations will be in full swing as the Platinum Party at the Palace takes place outside Buckingham Palace. It’s a live concert with performances from the likes of Queen + Adam Lambert, Nile Rogers and Hans Zimmer.
Twenty-two thousand people will attend the live event, with 10,000 tickets allocated in a public ballot and more than 7,500 tickets going to key workers, members of the Armed Forces, volunteers, and charities. But if you haven’t got a ticket - don’t worry - as you’ll be able to watch the show from the comfort of your own home.
