The heartbroken dad of murdered Elle Edwards bravely made the journey to the scene of his daughter's death to lay flowers.
Elle was celebrating Christmas Eve with family and friends at the Lighthouse Pub, Wallasey Village, shortly before midnight when a gunman fired multiple shots towards the front entrance, hitting her in the head and wounding four other men.
Tim Edwards left the bouquet with an emotional card on Boxing Day, as friends, family and strangers paid their respects to the popular 26-year-old beautician. The card Mr Edwards left at the scene read: "To my beautiful Elle, you are the light of my life. You will never be gone, Mum and Dad xxxx."

A heart shaped plaque had also been left, alongside photographs of the 26-year-old, which reads: "Special daughter, the happiness you brought, in your own special way, will be remembered with love each and everyday."
Today members of the public continued to file past the cordoned off area in Wallasey Village and quietly look at the floral tributes by the pub.
Detectives have said they do not believe beautician Elle was the intended target of the shooter, and it is feared she was simply caught in the crossfire of an attempted hit on another individual. Late on Boxing Day Merseyside Police announced the arrests of a 30-year-old man on suspicion of murder, and a 19-year-old woman on suspicion of conspiracy to murder. Both remain in custody.
Chief Constable Serena Kennedy has vowed to bring everyone involved in the murder to justice, calling those responsible "cowards" using guns to settle "pathetic and petty disputes".
She said: "These people are cowards, who think the only way to resolve an argument is through violence, they don’t have the strength or resolve to work things out and stop things from reaching such an ugly and devastating conclusion.
"Anyone involved in arranging this shooting, pulling the trigger and supplying the gun deserves to see every Christmas from behind bars."
