It's do-or-die time for Leeds United this weekend. Regardless of what happens in Burnley's game against Newcastle, Leeds must take something from Brentford in order to stand a chance to stay up. Whether it will need to be a win or a draw will depend on what happens at Turf Moor. if Burnley lose, a draw will keep Leeds up, whilst they will need to win if the Clarets draw. A win for Burnley means that Leeds cannot survive.
With such a crucial match ahead and a win likely to be required, Jesse Marsch may need to be aggressive in his team selection. However, he cannot afford to be so open as to throw away a chance of getting a draw which would keep the side up, should Burnley lose to in-form Newcastle.
After his piece of magic to assist Pascal Struijk's late equaliser against Brighton last weekend, Joe Gelhardt seems a certainty to start up-front. Meanwhile, Jamie Shackleton may be one to go for at right back, in order to have a more attacking option than Robin Koch, who played there in the previous game.
