The Boston Celtics hosted the Washington Wizards at TD Garden on Sunday night after a long stretch of poor defense finally ended up leading to their first losing streak of the season in the team’s prior two games. But on Sunday, the team found its defensive chops once again, holding the Wiz under 100 points to come away with a 112-94 blowout at TD Garden.
The wire-to-wire win saw big games from Celtics starters Jaylen Brown (24 points, 10 rebounds) and Jayson Tatum (23 points), and Malcolm Brogdon (23 points) off of the bench. Reserve forward Sam Hauser also hit 3 triples and pulled down 5 boards to help the Celtics cruise to a win.
Let’s take a look at some of the best plays captured in images from the Celtics’ sixth game of their 2022-23 campaign.
