The Boston Celtics came into Friday night’s tilt with the Indiana Pacers looking like a team with their momentum back after a blowout win over the Sacramento Kings, but the Pacers stayed close throughout the game’s first two quarters. Then, in the second half, Boston broke the game open as Jayson Tatum (34 points, 7 rebounds), Jaylen Brown (27 points, 7 boards), and Derrick White (22 points, 9 assists) started to heat up.
Pushing the lead to as much as 29, Indiana would pull the plug on the contest midway through the final frame, with Boston coming away with a 120-95 win as they continue to round into postseason form.
Solid supporting games off of the bench from Grant Williams (12 points, 6 boards), Sam Hauser (9 points on 3-of-4 shooting from deep), and Robert Williams III (4 points, 8 rebounds, 3 steals, 3 blocks) in particular sewed up the victory for the team.
Let’s take a look at some of the best plays captured in images from the Celtics’ game No. 74 of their 2022-23 campaign.
