If there was any doubt as to who might come out of top in the first meeting between the Boston Celtics and Houston Rockets in those two ball clubs’ first meeting since Ime Udoka joined that club as their head coach, it did not take long to put that mystery to bed. Midway through the tilt’s second quarter, the Celtics took control of the game and never looked back.
Once Boston took out the clamps, the Rockets could not buy a bucket, Houston finishing the game shooting just 40% from the field and a mere 23.3% from deep while the Celtics hit more than half the shots they took from anywhere on the court to easily win the game 145-113.
