A pharmaceutical company which supplied feed to premature babies at hospitals across England when the product had been contaminated has been fined more than £1.2 million.

ITH Pharma’s total parental nutrition (TPN) was administered to 84 patients across 14 hospitals across England, with 19 infants falling ill from bacteria in the fluid.
