Peter Kay delighted fans with a rare public appearance on stage in Liverpool last night, as he continues to host a charity dance event that's in aid of Cancer Research UK.
The comedian, 49, hasn't appeared on stage much in the last couple of years, after announcing in 2017 that he was cancelling work projects due to 'family circumstances'.
He's taken to the stage a handful of times since, including making a triumphant return as the host of Dance for Life - which began in 2016 - in Manchester in April this year.
His last public appearance was back in May when he was spotted at the Ivor Novello Awards.
The charity dance-a-thon headed to the M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool this week, with Peter having entertained fans at the venue last night - ahead of a second show tonight.
Following the show last night, which had been held to raise money for Cancer Research UK, several attendees took to social media to share their excitement over the event.
One wrote: "Just had the best night of my life at [the show]. I can't even describe [it]. Three hours of non-stop dancing. Peter you have gone too long. Welcome back you legend."
Another wrote: "Danced the night away with [Peter] and had a fantastic night." A third said: "Thank you for an amazing evening in Liverpool tonight. Best school disco ever".
"Fantastic time tonight at Liverpool arena for Peter Kay's Dance for Life," tweeted a fourth. Another said: "Dance for Life tonight was absolutely incredible! Had the best time!"

Dance for Life - which has sold over 75,000 tickets since it launched in 2016 - sees Peter take to the DJ deck for a "joyous and unforgettable" experience with lots of dancing.
Attendees quite often turn up wearing 70s and 80s-style outfits, with others over the years having dressed up as some of the characters Peter has played on TV.
The event was held at convention centre Manchester Central for two nights in April, prior to having headed to the exhibition centre Space by M&S Arena in Liverpool last night.
The latest performances of Dance for Life had originally been scheduled for 2020. They were however rescheduled as the original dates fell during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Peter Kay's Dance for Life will be in Liverpool again tonight. Any further dates have yet to be announced. There are rumours he may embark on a UK comedy tour next year.
