With the World Cup wrapping up just days before Christmas, an unlikely duo are hoping to top the festive charts this year – as football legend Peter Crouch teams up with opera star Paul Potts to release a Christmas album.

The former England star will be making his conductorial debut on the eight-track charity album – which gives popular football terrace chants a classical twist.

The well-known fan songs featured on the album will include “Enger-land, Enger-land, Enger-land”, “We Love You England”, and “V.A.R, My Lord, V.A.R”.
