Pete Davidson in 'trauma therapy' after he was 'triggered' by Kanye West's harassment

Pete Davidson reportedly in "trauma therapy" following months of online harassment from Kim Kardashian 's ex-husband Kanye West.

The 28-year-old has reportedly decided to seek help after Kanye made several social media posts about him. The rapper even made a disturbing music video in which he appeared to bury Pete alive, writes The Mirror.

The latest outburst from Kanye saw him claim Pete was "dead" in a fake newspaper page shared on Instagram following his split from Kim Kardashian. The since-deleted post said: "Skete Davidson Dead at Age 28."

Below the headline, another part of the fake mock-up said: "Kid Cudi meant to play funeral but fearful of bottle throwers."

Pete is now said to have found the "attention and negativity" from Kanye a "trigger" and has been receiving therapy since April. "The attention and negativity coming from Kanye and his antics is a trigger for [Pete], and he's had to seek out help," a source close to the Saturday Night Live star told People.

They added Pete "has been in trauma therapy in large part [due to Kanye]." In spite of the situation, Pete is said to have 'no regrets' about his relationship with Kim. The insider said: "[Pete] has no regrets for dating Kim and wants it to be made very clear that she's been nothing but supportive of him."

He is reportedly trying to move forward and focus on his career. Pete's representatives have been contacted for comment. Reality star Kim is furious with Kanye for mocking her breakup and has reportedly called his recent post "appalling".

"Kim won’t stand for this - she is demanding that Kanye take the post down, but he won’t," a source close to Kim told DailyMail.com. "She has been vigorously defending Pete. She’ll never get back together with Kanye over the way he’s treated the people she loves and respects."

The source added that Kim "won't stand" for Kanye's behaviour. Kim and Pete called it quits on their relationship after dating for nine months. The couple are said to have split due to her commitments to motherhood and the distance between them.

According to another source, Kim couldn't be as spontaneous as Pete due to her children and it was part of the reason why things crumbled. "Pete is totally spontaneous and impulsive and wants her to fly to New York, or wherever he is on a moment’s notice.

"Kim has four kids and it isn’t that easy. She needs to focus on the kids," they added to Page Six.
