A new Persona 6 leak has appeared on resetera, providing a first look at its long-rumored dual protagonists. This includes five grainy photos of alleged concept art and sketches of a male and female character, a hand-drawn sketch of a subway station, and a list of image files with character names.
The timing of this massive leak is interesting, especially since it comes two days after a relatively notable industry analyst/leaker, eXtas1s, claimed that Persona 6 is feature-complete but is internally delayed until 2027.
In addition to these bold claims, he added that the game’s male protagonist has blond hair, whereas the female protagonist has black-red colored hair.
Now, leaked concept art and sketches include characters with similar hair color, lending more credence to what could be the first major piece of information about Persona 6.
Persona 6 leaked concept art are real, claims leaker lolilolailo
Several Persona leakers have acknowledged the leak, with the most notable being lolilolailo, a reputable Persona leaker who revealed Persona 3 Reload way before it was officially announced. According to them, the five concept art for Persona 6 are indeed real.
Furthermore, they claim that the blond boy is the protagonist, not the girl. It’s worth pointing out that lolilolailo hasn’t denied there’s no female protagonist in P6, so those hoping to play as someone of the opposite gender, all’s not lost.
Speaking of characters, as mentioned above, one of the leaked images contains a series of image files that hint at some of the characters you may encounter in Persona 6. One of these characters is apparently called Toma Takimoto, who lolilolailo claims is not the blond guy (protagonist) in the concept art.
While the character sketches don’t look AI-generated, they are nothing like the sharp character designs from series veteran Shigenori Soejima that embody modern Persona games. If anything, they look more angular, very reminiscent of the character design of the original Persona and Persona 2: Innocent Sin.
This isn’t surprising since Soejima is most likely working with Katsura Hashino on Studio Zero’s next game, most likely a sequel to the excellent Metaphor: Refantazio. That said, Lolilolailo claims the base designs were his work, but the leaked sketches aren’t from him. Interestingly, players can spot a person’s signature on one of the character concept art, which X user Ronakwya claims is Mai Yoneyama’s, who worked on Soul Hackers 2.
Since the leak appeared, eXtas1s has also reshared the images on X and made some claims of his own. He has also mentioned that the leak appeared from RedNote, an outsourcing company based in China. And that the leaker has been caught and fined over 100,000 Chinese Yuan.

Whether these concept art pieces are real or fake remains to be seen. However, it’s worth noting that it’s the most tangible piece of information we have gotten so far about Persona 6, fake or otherwise. If nothing, it could be an indication of one thing – Persona 6’s reveal is on the way.
As for what we know officially, Persona 6 isn’t part of the Sega titles planned to be released in fiscal year 2026. With Persona 4 Revival rumored to launch in early 2027, we might not even get a Persona 6 announcement until later this year at The Game Awards 2026.
