Negotiations with Sporting CP may not be progressing at the pace Tottenham would like but all the indications are that top target Pedro Porro is set to join the club before the transfer window closes.
The wing-back, who is reported to be costing around £40million, will join loan addition Arnaut Danjuma in swelling the Tottenham ranks this month.
However, there is no sign that the spending is going to stop there with a number of other targets still being heavily linked with a move to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

We have picked out seven of the most prominent, including Porro and Danjuma, and want to know your views via our Swerve or Swoop tool.
It may already be too late in the case of the aforementioned duo but you can give the Spurs hierarchy a clear message regarding the five other potential signings.
Should Tottenham continue to rival AC Milan for the signing of AS Roma’s Nicolo Zaniolo? Would a move for Barcelona’s Franck Kessie be welcomed or would they be better off swerving the midfielder who has started just two La Liga games for the Catalan giants this term?
With question marks still surrounding the form of Hugo Lloris, could an audacious January swoop for Everton’s Jordan Pickford be the way to go? Or given the uncertainty surrounding the Toffees, is a summer swoop for David Raya a more sensible option, especially given the Brentford number one could be available for a cut-price £15m?
And also looking ahead to the summer, would the arrival of Bayer Leverkusen centre-back Piero Hincapie be a welcome sight?
Or would you gladly swerve the lot and sign someone else entirely? Let us know your thoughts in our Swerve or Swoop tool above or in our comments section.
