Peaceful Start To Republican National Convention In Milwaukee

On the first day of the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, hundreds of protesters and counter-protesters gathered in the city. Despite the large turnout, Mayor Cavalier Johnson reported that there were no significant clashes on Monday.

The Mayor described the day as calm and peaceful, with minimal disruptions. The Milwaukee Police Department confirmed two arrests for disorderly conduct, but overall, the protest activity was lower than anticipated.
