Dennis “PaymoneyWubby” Richardson and Fiona “Fanfan” Nova found themselves in an unexpected place, a Netflix movie connected to Adam Sandler. Their voices were used in Roommates, released on April 17, 2026. The clip came from one of their old Twitch streams and was later licensed for the film. Both creators were paid $2,000 each for that short audio.
The moment was never planned. It was part of a casual stream where they were playing Minecraft and talking freely. That clip later spread online, reached a wider audience, and somehow caught the attention of Sandler’s team. What started as a normal conversation between two streamers slowly turned into a paid feature in a professional film.
