Kerry GAA legend Paul Galvin stopped by The Late Late Show on Friday evening and recounted a hilarious tale of a touchline row with iconic Armagh All Ireland winning manager Joe Kernan.
The multiple time All Ireland winning footballer stopped by for a chat with Ryan Tubridy about a wide range of topics including his new book, Michael Lyster's fashion sense and he also paid tribute to his late mother's ability to come out with brilliant one-liners.
But it was his tale about a touchline row with Kernan that brought laughter and applause from the crowd. No sooner had he sat down on the coach, Galvin started talking about the Armagh legend, who incidentally was sitting in the front row having taken part in an earlier segment on the show. When asked by Tubridy about the fashion style of Irish men, Galvin quick as a flash commented on Kernan's fashion style.

" I know Joe a long time, Joe's all style " began Galvin.
" I nearly took the head off of Joe with a bottle of water in Croke Park one time, I hope he forgives me."
Kernan instantly replied from his seat in the audience, "I caught it didn't I though."
Galvin then proceeded to talk about how he bumped into Kernan earlier that day, but failed to mention that he would be on the show that evening.
" I met Joe on the street earlier and he said he was going on the Late Late, " said Galvin, " And I said 'I hear it's a big lineup tonight. I didn't say I was on it now but. "
