FC Pather have enjoyed a remarkably successful first season, landing the Airdrie and Coatbridge Sunday League Premier Division title, Scottish Cup, West of Scotland Cup, and Billy Harkness Memorial Cup.
The Wishaw team was put together last summer, borne of a group of friends who played seven-a-side and wanted to scale it up.
Managers Alan Hadden and Mark Fox, and coach Graham Green have led them to an incredible four trophies, winning the Premier Division by two points over Phoenix.
Secretary Stephen Crawley said: “It’s our first year, we only put the team together last summer.
“It was just a group of friends, who went from playing seven-a-sides to having a friendly game at the park, and we just decided to form a Sunday team.
“We’ve been really successful.
“I don’t think anyone has ever done that in this country and won the West of Scotland and the Scottish Cup together in one season.
“We won the league, and the cup, and had to forfeit one of the cup competitions because we had that much on we couldn’t fulfil the amount of fixtures we had.
“We need to try and retain everything now next season!”
Pather have a solid squad of players, but will consider anybody who wants to join.
Crawley added: “We have a big pool, but we always want to better ourselves, so we’re open to offers.”
