A driver claims a back-seat passenger "could've been killed" after yobs dropped a brick from a bridge onto her moving car.
Sarah Connor was driving along Princess Way in Seaforth on Friday evening heading out for a meal with her partner- when the pair were stopped in their tracks by a loud bang and glass flying into the back of the car. Sarah, 37, believes that yobs dropped a brick from a bridge above the road and fled the scene.
Despite the brick damaging her rear door and smashing one of the windows, civil servant Sarah believes she was lucky. She told the ECHO: "I think we were lucky. If we would have been a couple of seconds earlier then the brick would have come down where my partner was sat and could've seriously hurt him

"Or if I had a baby in the back, I dread to think. The kids and teenagers doing this sort of thing must have been dragged up but they don't seem to care- they could literally end up in prison for killing someone after doing stuff like this."
Despite having criminal damage cover as part of her insurance, Sarah will now be left out of pocket as she will have to pay the £250 excess to have the window fixed. She added: "It's not fair that they do these things and then normal people are left out of pocket, we all did silly things when we were younger but not stuff like that."
