Party Animals devs cancel AI video contest due to a ‘significant amount of negative feedback’

Party Animals Recreate Games

An “AI video contest” run by Party Animals devs Recreate Games has been canceled, and the studio has issued an apology today.

Last week, Recreate announced the contest, encouraging users to make Party Animals-themed videos with AI prompts, with up to $75,000 in prize money up for grabs. The community backlash was so overwhelming that the studio apologized and ran a poll to decide the next course of action for the cutesy-brawler.
