Parking charges reintroduced at Nottingham hospitals

Nottingham Covid-19 City Hospital

Car parking charges are being reintroduced for patients and visitors to Nottingham hospitals. The charges, which remain the same as before the Covid pandemic, start from Monday, June 27 at City Hospital and from Wednesday, June 29 at the Queen's Medical Centre.

Patients and visitors have enjoyed free parking since Covid's peak. An Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) barrier system has been introduced, with electronic boards at car park entrances to show how many spaces are available.

Number plates will be read at the barrier and visitors will have to enter their registration number into the payment machine on return to their car. After payment, the barrier will automatically rise as you leave the car park.
