The Olympic women's and men's triathlons have been given the green light to proceed on Wednesday, following the latest water quality tests of the Seine river. The tests revealed that bacterial levels had decreased, putting an end to the uncertainty surrounding the feasibility of the central Paris swim after heavy rainfall.
Originally slated for Tuesday, the men's triathlon was rescheduled to Wednesday due to the river failing to meet the required water quality standards.
